Washington - The Mitsubishi Manufacture  ( recall ) of hundreds of their electric car product  ( the Mitsubishi i-MiEV ) to fix the trouble in the air bag device (airbags) in this car.  The airbags in this  car hasn't work properly  because of the problem. Mitsubishi Motor Co. as reported by the Wall Street Journal announced that they attract hundreds Mitsubihi i-MiEV model years 2012 to fix the problem in the airbag. In documents provided to the American Agency for Road Safety or The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration ( NHTSA ), Mitsubishi reported that there is deficiency of match between the airbag sensor and software in cars that make the front and side airbag systems are reluctant to serve.
If this occurs, the airbag warning light will illuminate to let the driver know if there are any problems. And if the problem is not corrected, then the functions of front side airbags and become unable to work well when the accident occurred, which in turn increases the risk of injury to the occupants. The recall affects approximately 261 electric vehicles built between 4 November 2011 and December 22, 2011. With the recall Mitsubishi dealers will replace the airbag sensor is not compatible with a new one ( free of charge ).
